Optical module identification

You can locate a specific fieldbus controller in the system using the optical module identification. The "Optical module identification" function can be accessed via the ECShell main menu.

Activating function

  1. To activate the function, click on the button [On].
  • The motor LED and the sensor LED of the selected fieldbus controller flash in red.

Deactivating function

The "Optical module identification" must be reset manually.

  1. To deactivate the function, click the [Off] button.
  • The motor LED and the sensor LED of the selected fieldbus controller no longer flash in red.
