Basic settings

INFORMATION

The availability of the settings fields described below depends on the axis type (standard or virtual).

Description

Higher-level MOVIKIT®

MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController

Hide settings that are not relevant for this higher-level software module. When activating this function, refer to the manual for the MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController.

General

Activate simulation

  • Yes – Simulate MultiMotion axis functions.
  • No – Do not simulate MultiMotion axis functions.

Index: 50000.2

IEC name: Inverter.In.xSimulation

Non-volatile position

  • Yes – After switching on, the position of the virtual axis is initialized with the value it had before being switched off. INFORMATION: After the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER has been switched on, the virtual axis does not report the correct position until the virtual axes have been enabled once. Once the enable has been given, the actual position is updated and is then permanently available.
  • No – After switching on, the position of the virtual axis is initialized with 0.

Additional functions

Position controller

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Extend the software module with the ability to perform central positioning control and encoder evaluation.

INFORMATION: If this function is activated, additional setting fields for configuring the software limit switches for position controllers are displayed in the Limit switches configuration menu.

Index: 50000.102

IEC name: _fbController._stConfig.stOptionalModes.xAddonPositionController

Anti-sway control

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Activation or deactivation of the option to configure vibration suppression measures.

Index: 50010.108

IEC name: _fbController._stConfig.stOptionalModes.xAddonAntiSway

Combined encoder evaluation

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Extend the software module with the ability to perform combined encoder evaluation. By using this function, only encoder 1 is referenced during referencing in FCB 12.

INFORMATION: If the "Combined encoder evaluation" function is activated, then the SW limit switches for position controllers must be used because the motor encoder is monitored when using SW limit switches on the inverter.

Expert mode

Display additional setting fields in various configuration menus. The user is responsible for configuring these setting fields correctly. If the expert mode is not used, all setting fields of the expert mode are set to the default value to ensure optimum operation of the software module.

Interpolation

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Extend the software module by the ability to generate travel profiles based on the interpolation of curve point tables.

Index: 50006.50

IEC name: _fbController._stConfig.stOptionalModes.xAddonInterpolation

AntiSlosh

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Extend the software module by the ability to generate optimized travel profiles with oscillation reduction for cyclical movements of liquids.

Index: 50006.51

IEC name: _fbController._stConfig.stOptionalModes.xAddonAntiSlosh

Touchprobe 1

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Configure touchprobe 1 of the inverter in such a way that it can be controlled via the software module and the detected value can be read.

Index: 50000.20

IEC name: –

Energy coupling

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Activate or deactivate the function to couple the software module with a power supply module for exchanging energy data. The actual function is implemented via a software module on the power supply module when it is activated.

Additional process values of the inverter

INFORMATION: See also chapter Additional process values.

Extend the software module by the ability to configure additional process values of the inverter that can then be read or written in the IEC program.

Index: 50000.103

IEC name: –

Additional process values of the inverter (becomes visible when activating the "Additional process values of the inverter" function)

Number of additional process values

Number of additional process values of the inverter that are configured and can be read or written in the IEC program.
