Sending in a unit for repair

If a fault cannot be repaired, please contact SEW-EURODRIVE Service (see chapter Address list).

Please always specify the digits of the status label when you contact the SEW-EURODRIVE electronics service so our service personnel can assist you more effectively.

Provide the following information when sending the device in for repair:

  • Serial number (see nameplate)
  • Type designation
  • Unit design
  • Short description of the application (application, control type, etc.)
  • Type of fault
  • Accompanying circumstances
  • Your own presumptions
  • Unusual events preceding the problems, etc.
