Status (OUT)

The status of the operating mode is output via the following output variables.

xDischargeActive

Data type – BOOL

  • TRUE – Discharging of the DC link is active. The braking resistor is controlled via the internal brake chopper.
  • FALSE – Discharging of the DC link is not active.

xDischargeComplete

Data type – BOOL

  • TRUE – The target voltage for discharging the DC link has been reached.
  • FALSE – The target voltage for discharging the DC link has not been reached.

xHighPowerError

Data type – BOOL

  • TRUE – The braking resistor is overridden, meaning the current discharging capacity is at least 10% higher than the specified maximum capacity.
  • FALSE – The discharging capacity meets specifications.

rActualDischargePower

Data type – REAL

Current total discharge power [W] consisting of the power of the braking resistor and the power of auxiliary consumers (can be up to 1.6 kW above the mere continuous power of the connected braking resistor).

rActualDCVoltage

Data type – REAL

Current voltage of the DC link [V]

uiResidualDischargeTime

Data type: UINT

Estimated remaining time until the target voltage is reached [s]
