Central stop profile

If the software module applies the error response, a jerk can be specified in the IEC program via the lrStopJerk (ProfileGeneration>In) input variable. If the software module does not apply the error response, a jerk is specified using the following formula:

Jerk = (application limit acceleration + emergency stop delay) / jerk time of the inverter.

A jerk can also be specified using an active fieldbus connection. In this case, the "Stop profile with limited jerk" parameter must first be set in the "Monitoring functions" configuration menu in the "Limit values" submenu. The jerk is then used in the "Monitoring functions" configuration menu in the "Limit values" submenu. If this function is not active when the fieldbus connection is activated, a jerk is specified using the following formula:

Jerk = (application limit acceleration + emergency stop delay) / jerk time of the inverter

The central stop profile is always used if the software module performs an error response (e.g. if a lag error occurs). However, if the inverter itself applies the error response (e.g. in case of an "E08 speed monitoring" error), the jerk time of the inverter takes effect.
