Extended ID1 code

Device profiles of specification version V2.x can be assigned additional information about the device (e.g. system identification, system startup engineer, etc.) via the extended ID1 code. The user can enter and change the extended ID1 code via the master or an AS-Interface handheld programmer.

For device profiles of specification version V3.0 and later, the extended ID1 code is part of the profile description and cannot be changed by the user.

INFORMATION

For SEW‑EURODRIVE inverters, the extended ID1 code is displayed in the MOVISUITE® engineering software in the inverter configuration under [Device properties] > [Communication] > [Fieldbus].
