Module description
The MOVIKIT® DeviceIdentity software module is used for recording and monitoring parameters (e.g. serial number, type code) in order to identify components (e.g. drive unit) of the MOVI-C® modular automation system. As a software-based smart service at edge level, MOVIKIT® DeviceIdentity establishes the connection between automation and IoT and in this way enables asset management, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
The data recorded by the software module can be used directly in the code according to IEC 61131-3, made available via a standardized OPC UA information model in combination with MOVIKIT® OPC-UA, and can be visualized directly on the system in combination with MOVIKIT® Web Visualization.
