MOVISUITE® does not create fieldbus interface

 

 

Problem

The IEC function blocks for connection to the fieldbus communication are not created.

Remedy
  1. Check whether the fieldbus connection is activated in the software module and whether the offset is configured.
    • The configuration of the fieldbus interface can be viewed in the configuration of the software module in the "Fieldbus interface" configuration menu. The offset (here: start address) must be set to 1 or to the first free address that is intended for the software module. For example, if another software module starts at start address 1 and has 28 process data, the offset of the PES software module must be configured to 29.
  2. Check whether the fieldbus interface is activated on the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER.
    • The fieldbus connection must be activated both in the PES software module and in the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER. The configuration of the fieldbus interface can be viewed in the configuration of the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER in the "Communication" configuration menu in the "Fieldbus" submenu.
