Synchronizing and switching on the energy storage unit
Switch-on procedure
Switching on the energy storage unit is carried out in the following steps:
- The feedback contact of the load-break switch signals that the load-break switch is closed (the corresponding digital input is at 24 V or is set to "TRUE" and the connected axes are at standstill as during the disconnection process, and their output stages are inhibited).
- The DC link voltage is adjusted to the voltage in the energy storage unit.
- A plausibility test of the required measured values is performed.
- The synchronization contactor or synchronization contactors (depending on the configuration level) are closed.
- A charging test is performed to check whether the synchronization contactor has closed and the energy storage unit is connected to the DC link/device.
Procedure
Proceed as follows to synchronize and connect the energy storage unit:
- To select the DCSync operating mode, set the uiRequestedMode variable in the IN structure under ModeControl to the value "520" (DCSync).
- Set the variables xStart and xConnectStorage in the IN structure under DC synchronization to "TRUE".
- The algorithm for the synchronization of the energy storage unit starts.
The storage unit is now connected to the DC link. The variable xStorageConnected is set to "TRUE". During synchronization, the activity is reported via the xSyncActive variable.
