Setting up the fieldbus connection

Perform the following steps to set up the fieldbus connection of the software module:

  1. Open the "Fieldbus interface" configuration menu.
  2. In the "Optional process data" section, configure the process data that are additionally required for your application.
  3. The values on the fieldbus are output in user units. If you require a higher resolution, adjust the decimal places accordingly.
  • The fieldbus connection is set up, and the resulting process data assignment is displayed.
