This document describes the startup of a MOVI‑C® CONTROLLER progressive UHX65A‑R with the Modbus TCP fieldbus interface on a higher-level master as an example. Due to the large number of Modbus TCP masters (e.g. Windows systems with corresponding DLL file) this documentation does not refer to an individual master.

The startup of the other controllers in the MOVI‑C® modular automation system is performed in the same way.
