Timeout time
The timeout interval can be set in MOVISUITE®.
- Default settings: 100 ms
- Timeout time: 0 ms (disconnection of monitoring)
As an alternative, the timeout time can be changed by directly accessing Modbus addresses 60000 and 60001 (high word) via FC03 or FC16.
The fieldbus timeout is adopted by the Modbus interface after a reset. Timeout monitoring is activated after the first write command of the Modbus master has been received for the process output data.
If the timeout time for cyclic communication is exceeded, the corresponding fault message "Fieldbus timeout" is issued.
