Description

In position

INFORMATION: When the "Anti-sway control" function is used, the InPosition bit is linked to xBusy (AntiSway) and is not output until after the "Anti-sway control" function ends.

Definition of an "In position" window using the following parameters:

  • Window width
  • If the difference between actual and setpoint positions is smaller than or equal to half this value, the "in position" signal is set.
  • Hysteresis
  • Target position hysteresis. When the window width is exceeded, the "in position" signal remains set until this value is exceeded.
  • Delay time
  • The condition for the "in position" signal must be fulfilled for at least this time.
  • Evaluation of "in position" bit independent of the start bit
  • Evaluation of the "in position" bit always when a positioning operation is active.
  • Evaluation of "in position" bit independent of start bit and mode
  • Evaluation of "in position" bit always independent of control signals such as start and mode.
