Operation

To operate the flying saw, perform the following steps in the MOVIKIT® fieldbus monitor. See also MOVIKIT® fieldbus monitor.

  1. Enable all axes.
  2. Select the following reference positions:
    • Master: 0 (0.00 mm)
    • FlyingSaw: 0 (0.00 mm)
  3. Reference all axes.
  4. Select the operating modes.
    • Master: 200
    • FlyingSaw: 1402 (automatic – cut mark control)
  5. Specify the dynamic values for the "master" axis.
    • Velocity 100 mm/s
    • Acceleration 2000 mm/s2
    • Deceleration 2000 mm/s2
  6. Specify the dynamic values for the "FlyingSaw" axis.
    • Velocity 200 mm/s
    • Acceleration 2000 mm/s2
    • Deceleration 2000 mm/s2
  7. Specify the application-specific parameters for the "FlyingSaw" axis.
    • Nominal cut length: 100000 (1000.00 mm)
    • Sensor distance: 50000 (500.00 mm)
    • Touchprobe window: 200000 (2000.00 mm, touchprobe window over the entire cut area, i.e. all touchprobe signals are used)
  8. Start the automatic operating mode of the "FlyingSaw" axis.
  9. Wait for the "In Position" and "Active" feedback signals of the "FlyingSaw" axis.
  10. Start the "master" axis.
  11. Set input DI 04 of the "FlyingSaw" axis to "TRUE".
  12. Wait for the "In gear" signal.
  13. Start the repositioning via "Move to start position".
  14. Wait for the "In position" signal
  15. Stop the positioning back by setting "Move to start Position" to "0".
  • A cycle was simulated by this with manual control. Further cycles can be simulated by repeating steps 11 – 14.
