Process sequence and signal states

INFORMATION

For the behavior of the drive at standstill, observe the information in the section "Stop functions" in the "Control functions" configuration menu of the inverter.

Signal states

[1]

General enable

  • PO 1:0 = "1"
  • Enable/emergency stop

PO 1:0

  • "1": Enable
  • "0": Deceleration with emergency stop ramp
  • PO 1:1 = "1"
  • Enable/application stop

PO 1:1

  • "1": Enable
  • "0": Deceleration according to application limit

[1]

Selecting an operating mode

"Cut mark control"

PO 6

1402 (decimal)

[1] to [3]

Start of the axis

PO 1:7
PO 18/19
PI 2
DI 04

  • "1": The drive waits until the cut mark has been detected and then synchronizes with the master signal in a position-dependent way.
  • "0": The drive desynchronizes. The master path is specified by PO 18/19.

[1] to [5]

ACTIVE
Master-based mode active

PI 9:0

  • "1": The synchronous operation state of PI 9 (HighByte) is not "STOPPED".
  • "0": The synchronous operation state of PI 9 (HighByte) is "STOPPED".

[3]

Drive synchronous

PI 9:1

  • "1": The synchronous operation state of PI 9 (HighByte) is "ACTIVE".
  • "0": The synchronous operation state of PI 9 (HighByte) is not "ACTIVE".

[4] to [5]

Move to the start position

PO 9:1
PO 7/8

  • "1": The drive moves back to the start position specified via PO 7/8.
  • INFORMATION: The signal is not evaluated if the synchronous operation state PI 9 (HighByte) = "GEAR-IN".

[5]

If the actual position lies within the configured window width, the feedback "In position" is issued. The drive stops subject to position control.

PI 1:7

  • "1": "In position" signal active.
Behavior when enable is withdrawn:

If the enable is withdrawn from the drive while the synchronous operation state is not equal to "STOPPED", the drive stops with the corresponding deceleration and the operating mode is canceled.

The drive must be moved back to the start position using the "Positioning absolute" operating mode (400) before the "Automatic – cut mark control" operating mode (1402) can be started again.

If the enable is withdrawn from the drive while the synchronous operation state is "STOPPED", the drive is stopped. A new enable continues the movement. If the synchronization position has not yet been reached after the cut mark sensor has been detected again, the drive synchronizes again after the cut length has been reached. Otherwise, an error is reported.

Behavior when start is withdrawn:

If the start signal is withdrawn from the operating mode while the synchronous operation state is not equal to "STOPPED", the drive desynchronizes according to the configured desynchronization strategy and the operating mode is canceled.

The drive must be moved back to the start position using the "Positioning absolute" operating mode (400) before the "Automatic – cut mark control" operating mode (1402) can be started again.

If the start signal is withdrawn from the operating mode while the synchronous operation state is "STOPPED", the drive is stopped with the deceleration PO 4. When the start signal is present again, the operating mode is continued. If the target cut length has not yet been reached, the drive synchronizes again after the cut length has been reached. Otherwise, an error is reported.
